Incredible New LG Phone Heals Itself From Scratches

When LG announced its curved smartphone, the G Flex, it boasted that the handset was coated with a “self-healing” material and even compared it to Wolverine from X-Men. In late October, LG later released a promotional video showing off the self repairing technology in action.

The G Flex’s has a curved 6-inch, 720p display which is flexible, & apparently durable based on the video. On the opposite side, the G Flex’s rear panel has a special coating which absorbs light scratches, like a smartphone version of the T-1000. Both of these aspects sound great on paper, but do they really work ?
