Frederick Douglass published one of the most poignant and gripping accounts of slavery ever in his autobiography, “The Narrative of  The Life of Frederick Douglass, American Slave.” This Book brought the injustice & hypocrisy of  Slavery to the forefront of the American consciousness, and  marked a turning point in the Abolitionist Movement.
